Hello everyone! I just realised I’ve never properly introduced myself here. I’m still figuring out how the “About Us” page works (and how to actually link it to my blogs 😅), so until then – here’s a little peek into me and my world.
My name is Shreya Singh and I go by the term “Shreyalogy” on the internet. By day, I work as an HR professional, structured and grounded in the real world.
By night, I slip into the skin of Shreyalogy—the strategic, untouchable version of me who thrives in crime, murder, and manipulation. She is the creator, owner, goddess and CEO of the World of Shreyalogy – a universe filled with murder mysteries, psychological thrillers, and dark love stories entirely crafted by me. It’s still a work in progress, but one day I want it to be a safe space for the poco loco population of the world (basically, all women and some men 😏) who can’t resist a good mystery.
Shreyalogy isn’t just a username – it’s my dream self. She’s who I want to become – sharp, strategic, untouchable. She’s manipulative in the best way, a mind that lives in crime and murder, and the part of me that cannot be messed with. Think of it this way – Shreya Singh is the Clark Kent, and Shreyalogy is Superman. Shreya Singh is the day job, Shreyalogy is the main character.
Since I’m 24, here are 24 facts about me that you should know if you want to plan and execute my murder strategically.
#1 I’m a Swiftie (but by accident). I only started listening to Taylor Swift because of Selena Gomez. Yes, you read that right. I used to hate Taylor 🥲 and then one thing led to another… and here I am, a full-blown Swiftie. If you want the long story, I’ve written about it [here]. Dear non Swifties, in my defence – Taylor Swift is a mad woman. You know who else is mad? How could I not? Tell me? TELL ME?
#2 My favorite color is Yellow. Yellow is more than just my favorite – it’s my brand color. It stands for light, sunshine, happiness, naive joy, and energy. Everything that contrasts with what I write about – murder, morbidity, and madness. This is intentional – danger is not fun if it looks dangerous. (Welcome to the paradox that is Shreyalogy 💛🔪). You can say I’m fearless.
#3 Cartoons + CID raised me. I grew up on cartoons and CID, which convinced me that literally anything is possible – if you’re mad. And I firmly believe I’m (very) mad. If you choose to stick around, you’ll find out.
#4 Pandas are my spirit animal. I don’t know why God put pandas on earth. They look adorable, roll around, and seem to serve no real purpose – which is… extremely relatable. I like to imagine they’re actually undercover superheroes who’ll reveal themselves only in moments of crisis. Probably during a zombie apocalypse. (Don’t say I didn’t warn you 🐼). I mean, they say God doesn’t put you on this planet for no reason… Right?
#5 Murder is my comfort zone. In fiction, at least. My brain loves crime, manipulation, and psychology, so I naturally write stories that kill people off. Don’t worry, you’re safe (for now). If I hate you with all my heart, chances are, I’ve written about you… Remember, there’s only one legal way to murder someone – and it’s story telling.
#6 I’m a man hater (my bestest friends are male, but that doesn’t count. I’m raising them to be better, it’s the World of Shreyalogy’s CSR project). If you’re a non misandrist, non feminist woman – as yourself why. And if you’re a man, go there stand in a corner and think about what you did.
#7 But I’m a hopeless romantic. Unfortunately – I’m straight and a hopeless romantic – I chose someone when I was 9 and stuck to it. The key is to believe that the sea is full of trash and you’ve to choose your favourite piece of trash and take care of it, nourish it till it un-trashes itself. Best out of waste girls. Best out of waste.
#8 I’m obsessed with pageantry. The crowns, the gowns, the speeches, everything about it fascinates me. Women are beautiful, how couldn’t I? Also, fashion. Also, the crowns are sparkly 🥹💲.
#9 I’m a storyteller before I’m anything else. HR pays my bills, but writing feeds my soul. My blog is where those two versions of me collide.
#10 I love contradictions. I’m girly but dark, logical but insane, disciplined but dreamy. Sunshine and shadows coexist in me. God decided he wanted to be ✨ experimental✨. Have you learnt your lesson, GOD?
#11 Skincare is therapy. Face masks, serums, and massages aren’t just routine, they’re sacred rituals. I have good skin, it can bear with all my Shenanigans and I can’t be more grateful. I might not have a lot of support but at least my skin glows?
#12 I speak four languages. Okay maybe not speak. I can speak three languages – English, Hindi and broken Spanish. I can understand Marathi. I can also understand parts of Italian and French. I love learning new languages. I love it so much that I have started learning about nine languages and because I am also very stupid – I’ve not been able to go anywhere with it.
#13 I love flowers. Not just in a cute girly way – in a nerdy way too. I like learning about the symbolism of each flower. What it means, what occasions it can be used in and for which tradition.
#14 I live in extremes. It’s either all-or-nothing with me. No middle ground, no lukewarm. I will either smother you or stab you twenty seven times in the chest.
#15 I believe madness is magic. All my best ideas come from embracing my slightly insane side. You wouldn’t last an hour in the asylum where I raised me.
#16 Forgiveness is for the weak. I believe in revenge and brutal, untimely, and a well thought revenge. I might be an idiot most of the times but there’s nothing I do better than revenge.
#17 Not a travel person – Growing up, my parents were strict and i never got to go out with friends and have fun. So my definition of having fun changed. Now travelling feels like work – because it is. I could’ve watched Mexico reels from the comfort of my bed – what am I doing in Mexico?
#18 I’m not a foodie. I know, that’s not normal. I had an eating disorder for the longest time so I don’t really have a very romantic relationship with food. I will eat noodles tho.
#19 I like arts and crafts. Mehendi, Rangoli, gift boxes, backdrops, you name it – I make it. I tried learning knitting and crocheting. Key word being tried. I’ll keep you posted with my progress lol.
#20 Would I kill someone if I absolutely needed to? For legal reasons, I will not be answering that. I’d just advice everybody reading this to not try and find out.
#21 I cut off people from my life, because cutting their lifelines short is illegal. I just know a lot of my…known people… who will not be invited to my wedding and will never see the face of my children. If I could, i would erase them from my past as well. Bleh.
#22 You’re allowed to call me any slur, but normal is where I draw the line. Normal is the worst thing you can call someone. I’d settle for cringe, but not normal.
#23 I’m fancy. I like drinking aesthetic teas, and eating healthy looking food – just because they’re fancy. Fancy watches, fancy skincare, fancy board pins. I am ✨ Fancy ✨.
#24 I’m a stationery enthusiast. I support over consumption when it comes to cute stationery. My purpose in life is to be cute and useless. That’s why – I’m a panda.
So yeah – that’s me. HR professional by day, chaos CEO by night. Sunshine and murder. Contradictions stitched into a human.
