What movies or TV series have you watched more than 5 times?
Some people chase new movies and shows constantly. I admire those people. I am not those people.
Because when I find something I truly love, I simply watch it again… and again… and again.
There’s something oddly comforting about rewatching a story where you already know the jokes, the twists, and the ending. It feels familiar, like revisiting a place you’ve been to a hundred times but still enjoy every single time.
And for me, there are exactly two things that fall into that category.
The Show I Can Rewatch Forever: Only Murders in the Building
There’s something about this show that makes it incredibly rewatchable.
Maybe it’s the cozy murder mystery vibe. Maybe it’s the brilliant chaos of three strangers deciding to start a true crime podcast in the middle of their building’s murder investigation.
Or maybe it’s just the chemistry between the characters that makes every scene entertaining, even when you already know what’s about to happen.
Every time I rewatch it, I notice new details in the clues, the jokes land just as well, and somehow the mystery still feels engaging even when the killer isn’t a mystery anymore.
It’s the rare show that feels like both a thriller and a comfort watch at the same time.
The Movie I’ll Never Get Tired Of: Tangled
Some movies just refuse to get old, and Tangled is one of them.
From the moment Rapunzel steps out of the tower to the lantern festival scene, the movie is pure comfort. The humor, the songs, the adventure — it all comes together in a way that makes it easy to watch over and over again.
And the lantern scene? Still magical. Every single time.
It’s the kind of movie that reminds you why animated films can sometimes capture emotion, wonder, and joy better than anything else.
Why Some Stories Never Get Old
Rewatching something more than five times isn’t really about the plot anymore.
It’s about the feeling those stories give you.
Some shows become comfort zones. Some movies become traditions. And sometimes, two stories are enough to keep coming back to whenever you need something familiar, funny, or magical.
For me, those stories are Only Murders in the Building and Tangled.
And honestly, I’ll probably watch them five more times.
